Rikki Stein

Ohr High School Miami Beach/Boca Raton Girls Program

Mrs. Rikki Stein runs the Ohr High School Program – Miami Beach and Boca Raton Girls Divisions. She is from Brooklyn, NY and attended BYA Elementary and High School, followed by Meohr Seminary. She has a degree in Special Education (ABA therapist) and lives in Miami with her husband and five children.

Rabbi Raphael Stohl

Ohr High School Hollywood Program

Rabbi Raphael Stohl oversees the Ohr School Program – Hollywood Boys Division. He is also the Mashgiach Ruchani at Yeshiva of S Florida and directs the Masmidim Program at Katz High School. Rabbi Stohl studied at Kerem B’Yaveh and learned in YU’s Kollel Elyon and the Hollywood Community Kollel. He has authored a number of important works, including Toras HaKavod, Otzar HaSimcha and a Deeper Look on Sefer Yehoshua.

Rabbi Noach Peled

Ohr High School N Miami Beach Boys Program

Rabbi Noach Peled oversees the Ohr High School Program – North Miami Beach Boys Program. He is also the Rav of Mikdash Melech and on the Rabbinical Board and faculty at Sha’arei Bina Torah Academy for Girls. Rabbi Peled received his Bachelor of Talmludic Studies from Yeshiva Toras Moshe in Israel.

Rabbi Moshe Goldstein

FAU College Program Coordinator

Rabbi Moshe Goldstein is the FAU College Program Coordinator. He grew up in Queens, NY. He attended Rabbinical Seminary of America/Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim. At JEC, he is dedicated to creating relationships with college students to inspire them to use Torah wisdom to succeed in every aspect of their lives. He lives in Boca Raton with his wife and seven children.

Ally Levin

Administrator

Mrs. Ally Levin is JEC’s Administrator. She was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs and received her bachelor’s in journalism and Spanish from Indiana University. She also studied in Seville, Spain. After graduating, she attended Shearim College of Jewish Studies and enjoyed living in the holy city of Jerusalem. Today, she lives in Boca Raton with her husband and son.


Rabbi Ephraim Weiss

Assistant Director of Youth Programming

Rabbi Weiss is the Assistant Director of Youth Programming. He was born and raised in New York City. He studied in some of Israel’s prestigious institutions including Mir Yeshiva and Torah Ohr in Jerusalem under the late Rabbi Chaim P. Scheinberg, OBM. Rabbi Weiss received Rabbinic ordination from Rav Zalman N. Goldberg of the Jerusalem Bet Din. He has vast Kollel experience both in Israel and abroad and most recently he founded and directed an outreach Kollel in Jacksonville, Florida. Rabbi Weiss is known for his inspirational and dynamic lectures on numerous topics. He has assisted many on their path of growth. When he is not studying or running after his six children, Rabbi Weiss enjoys exercise, cycling and the great outdoors.

Rabbi Shimon Feder

Founding Director

Director Rabbi Shimon Feder founded JEC in 2005 with a vision to battle the rising assimilation and apathy in South Florida. Since then, he has grown JEC to six divisions for all ages, affiliations and backgrounds and touched thousands of lives. Originally from Chicago, Rabbi Feder received his BS in Accounting from Touro College and completed a double Rabbinic Ordination from Chofetz Chaim’s Seminary of America in Queens, NY. He recently authored a book, “Psychology and Personal Growth in the Torah” published by Mosaica Press. He lives in Boca Raton with his wife and six children.

Devorah Mirsky

FAU College Program Assistant Coordinator

Mrs. Devorah Mirsky is the FAU College Program Assistant Coordinator. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She is passionate about sharing her love for Judaism with students as a mentor and educator. She recognizes that everyone comes with a story and their own journey that propels them to find their own meaning in Judaism. With her colorful persona and humorous personality, Devorah has an open-door policy in her home and enjoys hosting students every Shabbos. She lives in Boca with her husband and 2 children.

Mrs. Barby Harel

Social Media Manager/Ohr High School Program Assistant

Mrs. Barby Harel is the social media manager and assistant on the Ohr High School Program. She started with JEC as a student in the Ohr program. After high school, she attended Meorot in Har Nof, Jerusalem, where she developed a love for Judaism and Jewish outreach. She is certified in Montessori education. Today, she lives in Bal Harbour with her husband.

Rabbi Avrohom Richmond

Ohr High School Boca Raton Program

Rabbi Avrohom Richmond runs the Ohr High School Program- Boca Raton Boys Division. He grew up in the greater New York area while attending Yeshiva in Queens, New York. After high school he went to Yeshiva in South Florida and has always wanted to come back to teach here. He is married with four children and lives in Boca Raton.
