JEC of South Florida plays a vital role in outreach for an area that is one of the most Jewish populated in the country. Our six divisions connect 525+ individuals of the various factions to their Jewish roots on a weekly basis.

The Billi Marcus Camp Nageela Boca

The Billi Marcus Camp Nageela Boca opened its doors in 2010 to provide a positive Jewish summer experience for local children, ages 5-13, regardless of background and affiliation. A proud member of the National Nageela Network of Jewish camps, we are well-known across the country for innovative, joyfully-Jewish programming.

Over 10 years ago, Michele Berman, Harry and Delores Friedman, and Arlene and Milton (O"BM) Herson, helped start a weekly Torah study class at the Polo Club. Over the years, the class has grown in size and is now a very popular program with members at the Polo Club looking to add spiritual enrichment to Monday afternoons.

Shabbat & Holidays

JEC’s Shabbat explanatory services are held from 10:00 AM -11:15 AM on Saturdays and High Holiday hours to be announced prior to the season. The programs are currently housed at Torah Academy, 3881 NW 3rd Ave in Boca Raton with future services to be held at our all-new building upon completion. Enriching prayers and Torah insights bring a deeper meaning to the fore and are conducted in a completely user-friendly manner, geared to Jews of all backgrounds and affiliations.
