6. Will there be trips? Will they still have fun?
We had to make changes to keep everyone safe, so there will be no trips. However, we will still have a lot of fun! We have many exciting activities planned and are confident that Billi Marcus Camp Nageela Boca will be an amazing summer!
7. What substitutions will you be offering this summer due to the restrictions?
We will still be having our usual camp activities such as arts, dance, water activities, baking and prayers. In lieu of trips, we are looking into different companies that will come to camp and run socially distant activities!
8. What happens if someone tests positive for COVID-19 or has a fever upon arrival?
Per CDC and DOH guidelines, if someone test positive for COVID-19, they will be asked to self-quarantine for 14 days and cannot return to camp beforehand. Although our abilities to enforce a self-quarantine are limited, we are trusting that they will not unnecessarily endanger our campers, staff or their own families. If a child has a fever upon arrival, they will be required to return home immediately.
The following are the procedures to return to camp:
1) Receive a COVID-19 test.
a. If the results are positive, your child must self-quarantine for 14 days before returning to camp and be free of all illness and symptoms.
2) Before returning to camp, you must present proof of a COVID-19 negative test result.
a. If your child has a fever upon arrival and receives a negative COVID-19 test result, they must nevertheless not return to camp until 14 days have concluded and are free of all illness and symptoms.
